Online Exhibit: September 15, 2025 – March 31, 2026

Members of the Pacific Northwest Botanical Artists (PNBA) & the Oregon Botanical Artists (OBA) were invited to participate in this non-juried exhibit celebrating symbiotic relationships between flora, fauna, and funga. We asked artists to think about the interconnectedness of these categories of living things, examining different kinds of symbiotic relationships, keeping in mind that in a symbiotic relationship, there may be benefit or there may be cost.

In response to the call, Pacific Northwest Botanical Artists received this exciting selection of 29 individual artworks from 19 member artists of PNBA and/or OBA. On the main gallery page for this exhibit you can view artworks in more detail. The artworks are presented in alphabetical order by the artist's last name. While most of the pieces received represent different types of symbiotic relationships, PNBA warmly welcomed purely botanical subject matter. Thinking outside the box, symbiotic relationships between living things exist, whether or not expressly represented. Everything is connected.

It has been a true pleasure working collaboratively with the PNBA Board for the last year coordinating this exhibit. We invite you to think about symbiotic relationships you may have noticed or will notice when you head out in nature.

We are excited to present to you these artist’s interpretations relative to the theme of symbiotic relationships.
Enjoy the show!

In Gratitude,
Deborah K. Morgan, MA
